New Year's Resolutions: Pick a resolution and stick to it.

Are you still waiting to start your resolution from last year? You are not alone. The most common mistake people make when picking a resolution is biting off more than they can chew. Don't set your goal too big, otherwise, you might become frustrated by the lack of progress. Instead of aiming to lose 50 pounds, start with a smaller goal or broader goal such as eating healthier or cleaner in the new year. If those first 10 pounds go quickly, you can keep striving for more. Another tip is to pick a resolution that will make you happy. What fills your bucket? Is it giving back? Quality time with family/friends? An organized home? You are more likely to stick to your resolution if it is making you a better and happier version of yourself. Below are a couple of ideas for resolutions.

Resolution Ideas!

Didn't find something that spoke to you? That's okay there are plenty of ideas floating around other blog posts or on Pinterest. Just keep in mind to pick something reasonable. Make sure to keep track of your progress. Find support from your partner or a friend and keep each other accountable. Forgive yourself when you get off track and don't use that as an excuse to quit entirely. I am looking at myself here! Make this year your best year yet.
